LET'S ANIMATE, an independent animation studio, based in Coventry, UK, creating animated content as well as facilitating animation lessons, workshops, sessions and even birthday parties both in-house and on the road.

Let's Have a Taster!
Animation Taster Session
Length : 2 Hours
Age : 7+
Group Size external : 30 Filmmakers
Group Size Studio : 30 Filmmakers
Split into smaller groups, filmmakers will have a go at the chosen animation style, giving a glimpse into the world of stop-motion animation.
WHAT HAPPENS AT A LET'S ANIMATE TASTER SESSION
- Depending on the chosen style, each filmmaker will either build a character from plasticine, create a cut-out character, or choose a brick figure to animate with.
- Split into smaller groups, filmmakers will have a go at bringing their characters to life using a LET'S ANIMATE animation station.
- Finishing off by adding sounds to their masterpiece!
Let's Create A Scene!
Animation Day
Length : 5 Hours
Age : 7+
Group Size external : 30 Filmmakers
Group Size Studio : 30 Filmmakers
Split into smaller groups, filmmakers will use the chosen animation technique to plan, script and build a scene, diving into creating aa short story.
WHAT HAPPENS AT A LET'S ANIMATE ANIMATION DAY
- Split into smaller groups, filmmakers will plan an idea based on one scene.
- Depending on the technique selected, scenes will be created from cut-out paper, drawn, or built from bricks.
- Characters will be built using plasticine, cut-out paper or brick figures.
- Groups will animate their scenes using a LET'S ANIMATE animation station.
- Finishing off by adding sounds to their masterpiece!
Let's Create A Film!
Animation Course
Length : 5 Days
Age : 7+
Group Size external : 30 Filmmakers
Group Size Studio : 30 Filmmakers
Split into smaller groups, filmmakers will be taken on an animated adventure, exploring how aa full animation production is produced.
WHAT HAPPENS ON A LET'S ANIMATE ANIMATION COURSE
- Split into smaller groups, filmmakers will plan a short story, using mind maps, storyboarding and scriptwriting.
- Depending on the technique selected, scenes will be created from cut-out paper, drawn, or built from bricks.
- Characters and props will be built using plasticine, cut-out paper or brick figures.
- Groups will animate their scenes using a LET'S ANIMATE animation station.
- Groups will learn to edit their films using an editing app.
- Finishing off by adding sounds to their masterpiece!
Let's Drop-In!
Animation Drop-In Session
Length : 1 Day
Age : All Ages
A drop-in animation session, perfect for events and festivals, filmmakers can come along to the
LET'S ANIMATE mobile animation studio to experience animation, a great way to have a go at the animation process!
WHAT HAPPENS AT A LET'S ANIMATE DROP-IN SESSION
- Depending on the chosen technique, each filmmaker will either build a character from plasticine, create a cut-out character or choose a brick figure to animate with.
- Moving over to the animation station, filmmakers will have a go at bringing their characters to life using a LET'S ANIMATE animation station.
- Filmmakers will receive a copy of their animated movie and can take their create models home (not including brick figures)
Let's Animate After School!
After School Club
Length : 1 Hour
Age : 7+
Group Size external : 18 Filmmakers
Group Size Studio : 30 Filmmakers
Why not invite LET'S ANIMATE to your school or organisation every week to run an animation club?
Each week filmmakers will be assigned a creative animation challenge to complete while learning about the animation process.
Creating a film portfolio to save and share forever.
- Filmmakers are given a creative animation challenge to complete.
- Animations are then exported into an editing app to add sounds and music.
- Films are saved and later uploaded to the cloud to share.
After The Workshop/Club
After all workshops LET'S ANIMATE will send your films back to you via a Dropbox link.
For an extra charge, LET'S ANIMATE can edit the videos together, bookending with titles and credits, posting on to the
LET'S ANIMATE YouTube channel for you to share!
For after school clubs, at the end of each term, LET'S ANIMATE will upload the filmmakers' animations to Dropbox,
where they can be download and saved indefinitely.
TRAINING CPD
LET'S ANIMATE can teach you how to implement animation in your own classroom or setting, giving you the skills to enhance the learning experience in a fun and creative way.

- Setting up a basic animation station and how to use the animation app.
- A look at the animation process and the best practice to teach this.
- Wrap up, ask questions and debrief.
After The Training
Following the training LET'S ANIMATE will provide you with additional support via email and video call for an additional four weeks.
Giving you peace of mind when teaching animation.

An in-depth look at how to use animation as a learning tool in your classroom or organisation.
WHAT HAPPENS ON A LET'S ANIMATE ANIMATION TRAINING DAY
- Introduction to animation; taking a look at how animation can improve the learning experience for everyone involved.
- Examining the various animation styles, their benefits and how to teach using these styles.
- Setting up the correct equipment and learning how to use the apps to achieve the best results.
- A look at the animation process and how to animate effectively.
- Over to you; to have a go at setting up the equipment and apps and having a go at animating.
- Wrap up, ask question and debrief.
After The Training
Following the training LET'S ANIMATE will provide you with additional support via email and video call for an additional sixteen weeks.
Giving you peace of mind when teaching animation.
THE VENUE
All workshops can be held at the LET'S ANIMATE studio in Coventry.
Alternatively, LET'S ANIMATE can come to you. We require a room with ample tables, plug sockets and enough space for eight animation stations.
